Continued

Yeah, so I also got the Subway job. I'm working Monday and may work a few evenings. Makes life a bit more interesting, certainly. Also makes this trip to Worcester tomorrow somewhat superfluous, but as I can't get a refund on my ticket I am going. I'll have a word with Subway Matt on my travels and see if I can't sort some proper hours out. It may just be that the Subway job don't work out.

Either way, this weekend will finally see some return to normality. And there's something to look forward to down in Worcester; if HMV is better than Uni overall by the end of December, I'm leaving university forever.

Things seem to be going nice.

Got it!

I got the HMV job!

No wait.

I GOT THE HMV JOB

I am utterly elated. That'll be just about £75 a week, which means I'll be more than able to pay my rent. £5 a week on spends - I get a 30% discount on everything bar games consoles and iPod shite, and first dibs on all the new releases. I'm working 15 hours, Saturday and Sunday.

Still not had the call from Subway. I could work Monday. They said they'd call today, but hey, now I don't need to call up and beg. Also, I'm down to Worcester AGAIN this Thursday, for the Tesco near my new house want me for an interview, just for the evenings. It's 5 minutes from uni, so that's easy enough to do. Jobwise, things is going alright.

And, I now know I'll actually be able to live down there! Did I mention I had to apply for a tuition fee loan because mum's moved in with Jack? They're only going to pay half my fees this time. Cuntrags.

But yes, that's a nice entry indeed. So to speak. The only downside is I miss out on drinks with Rhian, YET AGAIN. I do wish she'd pick a date I could make.

Backintown

I like totally forgot to put spaces in the title of this one. How quaint.

Yeah, so this is weird. I went for my interview at HMV, which I thought went pretty well, though I'm holding out little hope (I was the first interview of 5, and I've applied 3 times previously to no avail), and during it felt my phone vibrate. Check my voicemails afterwards to find a message from Matt from Subway, asking me for an interview. How's that for luck? I was only down there 5 days.

It should have been 4, admittedly. I was meant to go back yesterday, but it was an interview and I just couldn't say no. So I stayed on, which I reckon made me a shoo-in, he seemed quite impressed. Plus, Subway are hiring 15 staff at present, and I was one of the first to apply, so I reckon there shouldn't be a problem. Both employers are to let me know either way by Wednesday, so that'll be fun.

Upgraded my phone yesterday. Samsung Z400. Silver 3G slidey thing with 2 megapixel camera and 1GB memory card. That's double what I've got now, which is like 240 songs, brilliant stuff.
