Weekending
For all the shit-talk I do regarding the particular occurrences of Friday, I did make an impressive haul. £90 in total, with The Smoking Room series 1+2 from Daniel and Sofi, a bottle of Espana red wine from Niina, an ice cube curling set from Lora and a glass stiletto of Irish cream liqueur from work. Not bad really. I'd not seen The Smoking Room before, and it's fucking hilarious. I was up til half 5 watching it this morning with Daniel and Sofi.
I've had a four day weekend. Thursday and Friday off, it's been mint. Don't really want to go back to work like, I've gotten used to this.
Thursday I did little. Woke up later than intended, and did fuck all, pretty much. No wait, that's not true. I went to the uni library and pretty much created Thursday's comic from scratch. Walked back to my house, coloured and uploaded it, and got it online. That was something I'm not going to be able to repeat all that often, so I'm going to have to be good with my comics now. Can't just put them off until I get a holiday. Still. Happy ending.
Went into town at around 6 that day, which was a mistake. I'd tentatively agreed to go to Niina's to watch a movie, but due to my towning I didn't make it. Which was a big mistake, shouldn't have done that. We fell out for a bit.
Friday was alright. Woke up to several phone calls from family members, all of which I diverted in favour of sleep. Finally arose at around half one. A quick check on Facebook showed me that Niina was no longer mad at me, which was nice, and all in all the day went swimmingly. Went round to Niina's later on, joining Sofi, her housemate Jenni and Daniel arrived later on. Saying goodbye to Niina was hard, she went back to Finland Saturday morning. I'm going to miss her these next few weeks.
Yesterday was fine. Again, as is the theme of this post, didn't really do much. I like having the ability to do that though, it's a nice feeling. On saying that, I started the comic due for tomorrow, wrote it and have so far pencilled and inked 2/3rds of it. That's not bad going. It's currently what, half four. I'm going to collect some stuff from Sam's, she has a suitcase of mine and some DVDs. That gives me a good four hours to have the comic completely inked and coloured. Hopefully I'll have time to write Thursday's as well. Not that this room is particularly inspiring; plus it's damned cold. Brrr.
Christ. I've just seen The Worcester Standard. I'm in it, the previously mentioned fun day at Skipton has been publicised. I look damned jolly.
I shall leave you on that note. Shalom, shalom.
