Six Things
Six facts/opinions about things I'm thinking about. None are related, and I don't really want to go into any detail, so this will do.
. I am sick of so called friends who fuck you over because they believe they're too important/big/clever/popular for the likes of you. It irritates me when I hear things or am told things that amount to me being looked over - after all, I am supposed to be a friend.
. My Japanese classes for next semester have been cancelled; double edged sword - This was the only lesson I was interested in this semester, so there's that gone... however, it gives me opportunity to concentrate on my Russian, which is going pretty хороший.
. The comic's getting some good exposure currently; I was interviewed for an internet radio station regarding it the other day, and various advertising campaigns are bringing in more readers than I could have hoped for at this stage of the comic's life. Another comic I do for the Worcester Uni student paper is also receiving high praise, from my editor especially, who's looking to give me extra responsibility within the paper
. My university career is pretty much at a dead end. I didn't do 3 of four of the assignments over the Christmas holidays, which I think pretty much amounts to me failing 3 of 4 modules. This semester I was looking forward solely to Japanese classes, but no. I've got nothing to keep me at the place (uni that is, not Worcester), so we'll see how long I last.
. I'm not sure if returning to Manchester is the way to go. Apart from anything, I'll be stuck with my mother, sister and stepdad until I can afford a place, and it's my opinion that moving back in with them is taking a big step back - it reduces the independence I've felt since moving into my own place right down to zero.
. On saying that, it's only a matter of time before The Dreaded Housemate returns to wreak havoc to the calm I've built up during her absense. Well, one thing is for sure... I've changed over the holidays, I've been doing a lot of thinking. It's about time I stopped letting people get away with it.
