Question Time is filled with idiots

I'm not going into a diatribe about politics, politicians and intelligent debate; I'm simply making a statement based upon the people performing in that particular circus - both the panel and the bloody retards in the audience.

I'm in Manchester. I'm not entirely sure about how this feels. I know that the city feels better, though I don't like having to get buses into town; Worcester allows me to walk pretty much everywhere. However, it would be very cheap to live here. There are more jobs, and I've taken details to apply for jobs here and in Worcester, but have uet to apply for one as yet. I am very bad at not being inactive.

I come back on Saturday, and I'll be very surprised if this confused bubble around my head is burst. It's not just a question of location or living, there's so much I'm thinking about right now which needs to be sorted out before it gets to that suffocating stage where I just want out. Problem is, I'm the only person who can sort this shite out, because once I start talking about it I just end up spilling everything, assuming that I can actually talk about it.

Fucking thing.

Fresh

Feels kinda good to know that 2 of my overdrafts, totalling a somewhat excessive £1350, have completely vanished. I tried phoning Orange to cancel that phone bill, but their offices weren't open, so I'll do it on the coach later or somefink. There's a grand and a half in my savings account, and I feel alive!

Alive!

Also, I left £50 in my expense account so I can live for a while.

Alive!

What up. Yo.

How's it going, sports fans? Actually, no, I don't really care.

Things have been really odd recently. And unsettling.

It was a few days after my loan was granted that I was told by Manager Lindsey that my weekday hours were to be cut and my contract of 15 weekend hours a week to come back into full force. Which does have a certain irony to the timing, but not an irony I can enjoy with mirth and singing. In fact there was absolutely nothing even remotely resembling singing related to that news at all. None.

Waking up today, a Tuesday, a day in which I worked, at 12.45 pm was slightly surreal, but mostly headache inducing. I don't like sleeping in. Can't tomorrow, I'm heading back to Manchester for the next two and a bit days.

Yesterday was meant to be the "shit, I really need a job otherwise I can't afford to live here" day. Went into town with Elliott and Daniel, and ended up taking a few details down, selling my Legend of Zelda Wii game for a tenner and then using said £10 to purchase a McDonalds extra value meal and a pack of cigarettes. Went back to uni with Daniel, who lives in halls, and went to registry, where I acquired an official letter saying that I am a student of the university of Worcester. If I pay £5 they'll give me another copy of my council tax indemnity certificate as well, so I can fraudulently live in my planned house next year without paying council tax. Which would be nice, let me tell you.

From uni, myself and Daniel - by this time joined by Sofi (both Sofi and Daniel will be my housemates next year if I get a job) and a human called Lauren - headed to British Camp, some Bronze Age fort thing in Malvern. It was dead nice, the views from the top of the hill really were fantastic. Got back to uni at around 8, whereby we dined on Linda McCartney burgers and played with a rubber ball, accompanied by cold, cold beer. I ended up actually going home at around 2am this morning after playing various Wii games with the aforementioned people, joined at some point by Aaron, Lauren's significant other.

And so to today. Woke up late, as I've said, and headed straight to the PC. Most of my loan is going to be eaten up by overdrafts, which is a really distressing prospect. But heck, that's a good thing in the long run, right? Consolidation and all that. Right?

Updated the site, needed doing. Loads of photos etc, added a Last.fm widget on the main page, edited the links and blahblahreallyboring. Going to Matt's tonight to watch a DVD he's prepared about the last year in WIN, and I'm going to eat shiteloads of pancakes as well. And then do the remainder of my packing so I can actually wash and dress when in Manchester. I'm jobhunting there too. Whichever city employs me first wins my residency.
