A new one.
Still not completely finished the Dead Ends site. I need to add more links to the top of the page, which I still don’t really know how to do – this is the first site I’ve used Wordpress for. Don’t get me wrong, it’s an awesome system and I can do a lot with it (like the joyous blogging system that allows me to say no to Blogger.com) , but it’s confusing for someone who’s always anxiously avoided PHP programming.

Monday went by smoothly. It got to around eleven and it seemed like a different day completely – it didn’t seem as though I went to work or anything, not on the same day at least. Got home at around half five (which was nice), had some of Daniel’s soup (which was very nice) and found my BT bill waiting for me. Which was not nice in the slightest. Line rental of £104 something was fine – around £30 or so a month between four of us is not bad going. But then I noticed £174 odd of phone calls. I nearly had a heart attack. Looking through the bill, all the calls made to English numbers were free, so neither myself, Sofi or Daniel are to blame. Judith, however, appears to have quite a lot to say to her friends and family in Germany. I will talk to her when I get home, as she was not back until Monday night, and I didn’t see her at all yesterday.
I’m so tired! I woke up a little later than I would have liked this morning, but not as late as Monday when I was actually late. I don’t know what it is. It’s weird. My irregular sleeping patterns are creeping back to haunt me. I’m tired at work, and it’s not as though I go to bed particularly late (early actually at 1am). I don’t know what it is. I used to be so good at not sleeping.
Last night was alright. Met Sam from work, then went back to mine where we picked up her stuff and went to hers to drop it off. It’s nice actually, I’m glad we’re still friends. Came back, ate some Heinz Spaghetti with Sausages straight from the can (as is quite just and correct) and went out again with Niina to The Churchyard. Pretty good day, all in all.
(Almost) Done 3 panels of the comic due for December 13th. Need to ink the 3rd but we’re doing alright. It should be finished shortly. Probably not tonight, to be frank with you, my brothers. I have to finally tidy my room (all but tidied, save for the clean laundry which, due to my lax attitude to organisation, now sits in a lovely mound upon the floor) and then we’ll see. Might head over to the library afterwards actually. I like comicking in there.
Tomorrow sees the Staff Christmas Party. It’s not so much a party as a meal, but it’s a free meal so I ain’t questioning it. Roast beef with Yorkshire pudding. Definitely cannot wait, even if it involves socialising with my colleagues.
Started working on my new year’s resolutions. I have definite goals for the year based on my appearance, attitudes and personality, but I think I need to formulate some form of bulleted list. All resolutions have a shelf life of 3 months – a deadline by which if I haven’t completed one it becomes null and void. Not the most threatening of deadlines, but I’m hoping my intense fear of failure (arf arf) will put paid to the notion of quitting.
Oh, I’m going to be on the radio again. Tonto Campbell has interviewed me about Dead Ends. I’m pleaseder with this one than I was with the last one I did. It’s the same radio station – the link will be posted nearer the broadcast date – but it now has an FM licence, which means that not only The World can hear it, but also The Town of Worcester, and indeed Worcestershire in general. I’m pretty pleased with that. PEOPLE CAN LISTEN TO ME AND HEAR MY WEBSITE IN THEIR AUTOMOBILES. Like I said, I am very pleased with it, I actually sound like a normal person on this one. Set the date in your diary as The 7th December 2007 for optimum listening. I hope I will be able to get a link for the Dead Ends site as well. Interviews are well fun.
On that blissful note, I now leave. I’ve got to have my One to One in a moment, and need to muster up all the positive energy I can.
